Racial prejudice in the film 'Gone with the Wind', the exhibition was stopped!

In the United States, HBO, the company that streams movies on the Internet, has stopped streaming the city-wide film Gone With the Wade due to allegations of racism.

The HBO says the 1939 film reflects the linguistic and racial prejudices of the time that were bad then and are bad today.

The company has also said that the film will be re-released with historical context, but no date has been set.

Made in the context of the American Civil War, the film was criticized for its depiction of slavery in society.

The film is based on a novel by Margaret Mitchell, in which there are characters of black slaves who are completely satisfied with their condition and remain loyal to their white masters even after the end of slavery.

Gone with the Wind won ten Oscars and is the highest grossing film of all time.

Haiti McDaniel is the first black actress to be awarded for her role as a maid, a maid working in the house.

The film's author, John Ridley, wrote in an article in the Los Angeles Times that the film portrayed the pre-war south as great and furthered common misconceptions about black people.

The author of the Oscar-winning film Twilight Years a Slave added:

HBO Max said in a statement that it would be "irresponsible" to make the film available on the platform without any explanation or condemnation of racism.

The statement added that the film would be made available as it was made, otherwise it would be tantamount to claiming that these hatreds and prejudices never existed.

The wording of the statement is similar to that of the Tom and Jerry cartoon guide and was released by other streaming services.

Disney Plus has also told its users that some of its older films, including Phil Dumbo of 1941, may have reflected some outdated society.

The HBO's move comes in the wake of anti-racism protests that erupted after a black man was killed by police. This new situation has forced many TV channels to reconsider their programs.

Earlier, Little Burton was removed by Netflix, Burt Box and the BBC.
